The most important step in starting a ClickBank affiliate blog is figuring out your niche. The niche should have attention and this means there is need for interest, which would be traffic on your blog.
ClickBank has a variety of niche products so this means you don’t have to worry much about finding the perfect niche because all huge niches and smaller underserved niches have an affiliate product on Clickbank.

Once you have your product ready, then go on to create your website. The website can be a free one or a WordPress hosted website. I love Bluehost because you get unlimited bandwidth which means no limit to the traffic to your site even on the basic plan.
Though the normal Bluehost web hosting servers are slow you can get a faster website with a 94 on mobile and 99 on desktop scores on page speed insights using the free Astra theme similar to the one on this very site.
Having a Free website is good because you pay for nothing but a paid website gives you more features and people are willing to link to a professional WordPress website than a random Free website. Some Free Blogging platforms like Blogger and Google sites rank well on Google.
So for this case I will only focus on building a free website but the idea works the same way for a paid WordPress website, no limitations.

Finding Content Ideas.
Once we have our niche, a website and an affiliate product ready to go then it is time to get a list of the first 30 content ideas or blog posts to write on our website. This means you will need to do some topic research.
We don’t need to pay for any keyword tools because we are going to be using Google itself to get the content ideas for our brand new website. You can watch the video below to learn how I find these keywords using just Forums, Quora and Reddit.
Ranking Your Affiliate Website Without Backlinks.
This is how I am able to rank on the first page easily because these topics are underserved and have little to no competition. Here is how I do the entire process in brief.
- Find a niche topic or sub-niche that is related to your website.
- Sign-out of Google (you can use an incognito browser as well) and ensure you are using the Google USA version. ( just google for Google US and it should show up)
- Using a keyword or topic go ahead and type it in Google to see what is ranking. Get familiar with the competition.
- Check to see if Forums, Quora, or even Reddit are ranking. If not so then stay away from that topic.
- You can also use Google and search for a specific key phrase then add the forum name to see which topics it ranks for.
- Once you have an Idea for such topics go ahead and Google for them to see if the forum really ranks.
- If this is the case and the other top 10 results are not on point or are somewhat similar then it is a good topic go ahead and write that article.
- Rinse and repeat till you have a set of 30-40 articles on your site following this format.
This is how you rank your affiliate website with any backlinks. You don’t even need to know anything regarding outreach and backlinking schemes because you are ranking for underserved topics. This is what baits the backlinks, The more of these you have the more links you are attracting because you seem to be more relevant.
Reviewing New Products.
Once you have your first couple of articles then it is time to write the money articles, these are articles that will attract buyers interested in any product but have no idea that they need it to need or are in buying mode but looking for that perfect product.
You can find new products on ClickBank easily by using a couple of features in the affiliate marketplace you can also do an advanced search to find such products.

Adding Affiliate Links to Your Website.
Of course, you deserve to be paid. So this means you should add affiliate links to your content. You should add the affiliate links 3 times at most in the article. At the start in the first 600 words in the middle and the end of the content.
These links should be set as no follow if you are using blogger. For Google sites it doesn’t matter that much.
NOTE: Google sites are kind of random and odd, some pages will rank others will not rank at all. so you have to keep trying. This is why you should create a Blogspot website because you also have a chance to get paid via Adsense.
Since you have an affiliate program ready, here is what you should know if you are to start an affiliate marketing website.

- Create a youtube channel for your blog. You will thank me later. This will help you rank for keywords on Google you can’t rank for with a new free website.
The rest is experimentation so good luck. This method is fail-proof you will always rank no doubt even though your content is half decent.
Promoting Your New Website.
Website promotion is important because it can help you get that initial traffic flowing in as you wait for the rankings to take off on Google. Here is a list of the best traffic sources for new bloggers.

- Pinterest. This is good for specific niches because it is more of a female platform. If your niche has a female audience great you should be on Pinterest. Once you have a business account ready to go then go ahead and create niche-specific boards, add board descriptions, and create4-5 pins each day if possible schedule them.
You should treat your pin description as the metadata of your WordPress website. keep your descriptions between 1-2 sentences. Add hashtags and phrase keywords to spice up the Pinterest rankings. Make sure the pin title is keyword rich.

- Quora. Quora is a good traffic source because it allows anybody to link out to their websites without getting blocked only if you do it naturally and link to a valuable page.
